In our Child Welfare program we support Milwaukee County families and focus our efforts on trauma-informed practice that promotes safe children, healthy families, and a positive future.
SaintA is a national leader in the implementation of trauma-informed care through the development of the Seven Essential Ingredients of trauma-informed care (7ei). SaintA is one of only eight organizations worldwide serving as a Flagship Site for Dr. Bruce Perry and the Child Trauma Academy’s Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT).
We are seeking energetic, committed human service professionals to serve as Case Managers in our Child Welfare program.
To support the safety, permanence, and well-being of children through a trauma-informed perspective. Case Managers engage families, attend home visits, convene team meetings, perform data entry and documentation, and participate in court proceedings.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.Master’s degree and certification as a Social Worker preferred.
Will have knowledge and experience within the realm of child welfare and/or related human services field(s).
An ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills; detail oriented, highly effective verbal and written communications skills are required.
Prior experience and knowledge of local community resources plus background working in diverse communities with youth and families are vital to success in this position.
Must have their own transportation; meet agency auto insurance requirements, valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
